Registrations for Year 1 & 2 Confirmation by Appointmet Only!

 Note: All documents are to be submitted together. Incomplete packets will be NOT be accepted.  A deposit of $75 for first year and $100 for second year is required at time of registration per teen. 

 

First Year Confirmation Formation:   Items marked with an asterisk (*) are due at time of registration.

Teens

  1. Year 1 Confirmation Retreat (Included in your tuition; March 11, 2023)
  2. 4 Life Nights (Location, date & time TBA)
  3. 7 Monthly XLT's (Adoration held on the 1st Thursday of each month)
  4. Individual or Class Service Project AND Reflection due Tuesday, April 25, 2023
  5. Attend 24 Class Sessions (Depending on the date, if absent must complete absence within 2 weeks of absence)    ONLY TWO (2) ABSENSES PER YEAR DIOCESAN POLICY

Parents:

  1. Completed Registration Packet*
  2. Baptism and First Communion Certificate of teen*
  3. $200 Tuition paid in full by April 25, 2023 Minimum $75 deposit* 
  4. $10 DDF if register in our parish or $20 DDF for non-register in our parish
  5. Time requested for teen's weekly session: Tuesdays  5pm--6:30pm or 7 pm--8:30pm*
  6. 5 Parent Formation Sessions
  7. Parent Retreat Saturday, November 12, 2022
  8. Teens must be 16 years of age at the time of receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. Their 14 th Birthday must be before April 1st, 2022 for registration into first year confirmation 2022-2023).

Sponsor:( Sponsor can not be a parent)

  1. Sponsor Form, signed and sealed by Sponsor's home parish*
  2. 1- One day Retreat (Sponsor/ Candidate retreat)

Second Year Confirmation Formation:

Teens

  1. Completed formation year: Service project/Reflection, & Holy HOurs & Absent Homework form 2021-2022 year*.
  2. Yr. 2 Confirmation Weekend Retreat Novemeber 2-4, 2022 (Included in your tuition)
  3. 2 One-day Sponsor/Candidate Days October 22, 2022 and May 6, 2023
  4. 7 Nights of Adoration  XLT (First Thursday of each month)
  5. 4 Nights of Life Teen Location & Time TBD
  6. Individual or Class Service Project AND Reflection DUE APRIL 25, 2023
  7. Attend 24 Class Sessions beginning Sept 27, 2022 (must complete absence within 2 weeks of abasence)               ONLY TOW (2) ABSENCES PER YEAR PER DIOCESAN POLICY.
  8. Saint Report (due December 6, 2022)

Parents:

  4. $230 Tuition (due by Con 2 retreat) Minimum $100 deposit*
  5. $10 DDF if register in our parish or $20 DDF for non-register in our parish
  6. Time requested for teen's weekly session: Tuesdays  5pm-6:30pm or 7 pm-8:30pm*
  7. 5 parent formation sessions from 2021-2022 Year 1 formation year completed*
  8. 5 parent formation sessions in 2022-2023
  9. Attend Parent Retreat (February 4, 2023)

Sponsor:( Sponsor can not be a parent)

  1. Sponsor Form, signed and sealed by Sponsor's home parish*
  2. 2- One day Sponsor/Candidate Days (October 24, 2022 and May 6, 2023)

Confirmation Sponsor:

  1. The individual must be at least 18 years of age (per Diocesan policy).
  2. He or she must have received the sacraments of Baptism and Confirmation in the Catholic Church.
  3. If he or she is married, the marriage should have taken place in the Catholic Church.
  4. The person must have the intention, the ability, and adequate time to be a Sponsor.
  5. The Sponsor should live according to the Catholic Faith: attend Mass every week and receive the sacraments of the Church regularly, especially Reconciliation and the Eucharist.
  6. The Sponsor should practice the Faith within a Catholic Parish community, and live a moral life.
  7. He or she must be able to attend all 2 Sponsor/ Candidate sessions per year.
  8. Must turn in a completed Sponsor Form with the parish seal and Pastor’s signature from the parish in which they attend.

RITE OF CONFIRMATION FOR 2023

TBD

  • Sponsor and Candidate will meet in Horvath Hall at 0:00pm.  If either one is late when the ceremony begins the individual will be placed at the end of the processional line.  If the sponsor is late the Candidate will process in alone and vice versa.

Rehearsal

TBD

  • Both Sponsor and Candidate to arrive at 7pm so that we may begin the rehearsal on time and leave on time.  
  • We will practices procession into the Church, receiving the Sacrament, along with responses from the Candidate and the responsibilities of the Sponsor during the rite.
