The Kingdom Campaign was created to raise funds to pay off the mortgage of our beautiful new church. Our prayer this year, 2017, is to have a zero balance on our mortgage.

In our effort to pay off our Church mortgage, we decided to review our Kingdom Campaign in the light of the Trinitarian Spirituality of giving and receiving favor from the Most Holy Trinity. We divided the balance we owe in mortgage into three years. The 1st year is the "Year of God the Father", the 2nd year is the "Year of God the Son" and the 3rd year is the "Year of God the Holy Spirit". Every family was encouraged to pledge $10 a week in hopes that if 3,000 families participated we could reach our goal to pay off the mortgage in 3 years.

TREE OF LIFE:  In 2014 we placed on the the East side wall of the Church's main entrance the Tree of Life. As Jesus said in the Gospels, “the measure you give will be the measure you receive” (Luke 6: 38). Giving to the Kingdom Campaign offered the family an opportunity to be a part of Sacred Heart history. We have honored as one who generously contributed in building a house for God (2 Samuel 7: 5). When one gave up to $480 or more during our first year: “Year of God the Father”, his/her name or family name was written on a leaf plaque of the Tree of Life which was displayed on the outside wall of the church. As the Tree of Life grew, so does the commitment of our parish members and parish community.

TREE OF LOVE:  In continuation of 2014 with a three year evangelical journey of looking for a more effective way to respond to God’s abundant blessings in our lives as a Church. The first year helped us to contemplate the gracious gift of life which we undeservedly receive from God. With the “Tree of Life,” we asked the Good Lord to give us the fullness of life here and hereafter (John 10:10). Some parishioners responded to this appeal and we are grateful to announce that 368 out of 3,463 families paid $480 or more. From the “Tree of Life”, we embraced the “Tree of Love.” Life is meaningful when lived in love and when shared with others as God shared His life with us in Christ (John 3:16). As we continued to participate in our Kingdom Campaign, the words of Jesus were a consolation and reassurance, “The measure you give will be the measure you receive,” (Luke 6: 38). Once again when one gave up to $480 or more during the second year, “Year of God the Son”, his/her name or family was written on the “Tree of Love”, which was placed on the West side wall of the Church's main entrance.

TREE OF HOLINESS: We were ready to conclude our three year evangelical journey of looking for a more effective way to respond to God’s abundant blessings in our lives as a Church. The first year helped us to contemplate the gracious gift of life which we undeservedly receive from God. With the “Tree of Life,” we asked the Good Lord to give us the fullness of life here and hereafter (John 10:10). The second year, we continued our journey with the “Tree of Love.” Life is meaningful when lived in love and when shared with others as God shared His life with us in Christ (John 3:16). In 2016 we continued our spiritual journey to pay off our Church debt. The Bible reassures us that the Spirit gives life (John 6: 63). As we gave to the Kingdom Campaign in the year of “God the Holy Spirit,” we asked the Spirit of the Lord to grant increase and fruition in all our undertakings for the power of the Holy Spirit to regenerate and revitalize whatever seems to dry up in our life, health, prospects, and undertakings. And once again, we honored those who gave up to $480 or more during the third year, “Year of God the Spirit”, his/her name or family name will be written on the “Tree of Holiness”, which shall be placed on one of the walls of the church.

TREE OF FAMILY: As we began the 2017 year we were short of our goal to pay off our debt in three years so we continued with our Tree of the Family in the Year of the Holy Family. This year the "Tree of Family" will be placed indoors on the West wall next to the altar. Please read the Pastor's Letter (English/Spanish).
